The voters of Manatee County District 4 ignored the Bradenton Times endorsement of Glen Gibellina and returned Mike Rahn to the Manatee County Commission. Rahn’s business expertise and common sense approach to governing has benefited our county.
Gibellina may have overcome his dark past, but his claim to fame is commenting on multiple items at every county commission meeting. Gibellina had no actual business experience but he did the equivalent of kissing the Emperor’s ring by uttering McClash’s mantra: stop development.
Fortunately, Gibellina can go back to prolonging county commission meetings by commenting on every item. Fortunately, for Manatee County, Mike Rahn will be voting on the items on which Gibellina pontificates.
