Eddie Spier, the perennial pursuer of a government job, failed to fool the voters of Florida’s 16th congressional district. The taxpayers of the 16th district have been ably represented in Washington by such successful entrepreneurs as Dan Miller and Vern Buchanan. These men had the gravitas to accomplish their duty of representing the citizens of their district.
Sydney Gruters took a serious approach to running for the seat and ignored the infantile social media campaign of Eddie Spier. Running around pretending to be a cowboy is not the way to impress the voters of our district.
Just like our Democrat turned Republican, Melton Little, I’m sure Mr. Spiers will not hang up his spurs but will continue to run again to get a government paycheck.
