Democrats In LA Give Billions Of Tax Dollars To Leftist Charities

The voters in Los Angeles who wanted change in their city have been the victims of lying politicians. The Democrats in LA have wasted nearly a billion dollars on the homeless issue by giving taxpayer money to Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) who pretend to solve the homeless issue.

During the recent Mayoral election, current Mayor Karen (Incompetent) Bass claimed that her expenditures on the homeless issue had reduced the number of homeless people in LA.

Spencer Pratt was campaigning for Mayor and pointing out to voters that all the money given to NGOs was not decreasing the number of homeless people in LA. Pratt pointed out that the taxpayer dollars that LA was giving to NGOs were enriching the leftist owners and employees of the NGOs while the ordinary citizens of LA were being forced to live their daily lives attempting to avoid the problems caused by rampant homeless encampments. 

The Los Angeles Times recently reported that the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority revealed in a closed-door meeting that the homeless numbers in LA had increased by 7.9%. While these numbers were revealed in January, the Democrat bureaucrats in LA hid the numbers until after Spencer Pratt had been eliminated in the Mayor Primary election.

It turns out that the candidate who placed second in the primary was a Marxist, Nithya Raman, who has made millions of dollars running  NGOs that received taxpayer dollars to reduce homelessness in LA. It has been alleged that employees of these NGOs gathered votes from the homeless population in order to defeat Pratt. 

This is another example of the incompetence and felonious intent of Democrat politicians. While some of the citizens of LA with financial means are able to leave the city and state, many hard working Angelenos are stuck living in a city that is wasting billions of dollars on pay-offs to leftist organizations.
