When Trump Cuts Spending, Democrats Scream

The Democrats are proving to America why they should never be trusted with power. Just like the mainstream media, the Democrats are attempting to stop the Republicans from any attempts to eliminate waste and fraud in the federal government. 

As I have written many times, Democrats, when in power, appoint academics and politicians like Pete Buttigieg to run government departments. Republicans understand the need for putting business people in charge of government departments. The result is that Democrats continue to increase needless spending and Republicans start eliminating government spending.

Our federal government, with its huge budget, is ripe for waste. Bureaucrats do not understand zero-based budgeting. Bureaucrats start the budgeting process with the prior year’s budget and just add a certain  percentage.Trump’s Doge team is looking at departments from a zero-based budgeting viewpoint. For our Democrat readers, this entails starting the process with nothing budgeted for the department, and then determining what is needed for the department to do its job. 

America has slowly drifted into a deficit nightmare. The only way to improve our financial destiny is to determine where we can eliminate spending. Politicians of both parties are incapable of cutting spending. Our only hope is that Elon and his team will make the tough decisions about what needs to be eliminated. 

Elon has experience in fixing broken companies. He entered Twitter and instantly cancelled all company credit cards. The reasoning behind this was that Elon knew that the vendors who were grifting the most from Twitter would scream the loudest. Sure enough, they found millions being spent on products that were not being used. 

Musk and Trump started cancelling government contracts and the USAID department began screaming the loudest. DOGE focused on USAID and uncovered ridiculous projects that were being funded. 

Democrats refuse to endorse any cuts to government spending. They also refuse to consider reducing the federal workforce. As a result, the Democrats cannot be taken seriously. 

Trump and Musk must continue to force the issue on reducing government spending. They must ignore the Democrats and the media and do what is best for the United States.
