Trump Let The DOGES Out!

The Democrats are flustered by the pace of Trump’s DOGE team. Ironically, the Democrats cannot remember that just a few months ago, they were opposed to government waste. 

Last spring when Dr. Jill Biden was still our acting President, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) issued a report that estimated the “federal government could lose between $233 billion and $521 billion annually to fraud.” For our Manatee County Democrat friends, that is a lot of money that could equal 10 million sex change operations for Democrat voters. 

Interestingly, the federal auditor suggested a government-wide approach to address the issue. The auditor also recommended that the government should leverage “data-analytics” to stop the fraud. 

We have been aware of the billions of dollars of benefits that were fraudulently obtained during the pandemic. The Labor Department estimated that  $191 million in improper payments were distributed to Americans.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the Secret Service found that Chinese hackers stole at least $20 million in Covid benefits. 

Last year the Health and Human Services Department estimated that there was $85 billion in improper Medicaid and Medicare payments. This is just a small fraction of the waste and fraud in our government. 

In light of most Americans realizing that our federal government wastes huge amounts of taxpayer dollars, it is sad to see many Democrats fighting against what Musk is attempting to accomplish through DOGE.

Intelligent people understand that bureaucrats will NOT police themselves. This has been evident in Washington DC and Manatee County.

We are fortunate that Musk has channeled his intellect into saving the future for our grandchildren. It is too bad that the Democrats are fighting all attempts to end wasteful government spending. Sadly, this is typical Democrat behavior.
