The Democrats have been serving huge helpings of hypocrisy souffle since Trump was elected President for the second time. For years we heard countless pontifications from Adam Schiff, Liz Cheney and Chuck Schumer in 2020 about Trump issuing pardons to himself or his supporters who were being harassed by the Democrats. Schiff and the MSNBC menopausal feminists said that pardons would be proof of the guilt of the recipients.
Little did the Democrats know what was coming down the “irony train tracks.” As soon as Trump was elected last November, all of the Democrats started running for cover like cockroaches when the lights were turned on. These Democrats knew they had violated laws and legal rules in their pursuit of Trump and his supporters. Suddenly, these Democrats were begging for pardons. Then in a scene straight out of “Casablanca,” the Democrats acted shocked when Biden pardoned his son and family members for their business shenanigans. He added more pardons for Schiff and Cheney and their cohorts.
I understand that hypocrisy is to politics like bourbon is to Kentucky horse racing but the Democrats set new standards with the pardons that Biden issued.
To continue the hypocrisy charade, Senator Pocahontas Warren wrote a letter to the titans of the tech industry stating her concern that they were giving money to Trump to curry favor with him. Sam Altman, the founder of Open AI, tech company stated in return: “funny, they never sent me a letter for contributing to Democrats.”
To continue the Democrat hypocrisy comedy show, Biden expressed concern about oligarchs who were getting access to political power. For our Democrat readers, an oligarch is an extremely wealthy person or group that gains power politically. One week earlier, Biden had bestowed the nation’s highest civilian honor on George Soros, multi-billionaire who has funded countless campaigns for Democrats who want open borders and fewer policemen on the streets.
The Democrats have funded campaigns for years by accepting huge multi-million dollar donations from wealthy leftists in California and New York.
The Democrats would be better served by taking a hard look at their leftist policies that are repugnant to many hard working Americans. Spare Americans hypocritical blustering.
