The Wall Street Journal published an article on June 5th that broached the least hidden story of this election cycle: the mental decline of Joe Biden.

One of the anecdotes shared in the article was from those in attendance at a recent meeting Biden had with congressional leaders. The President read directly from notes when he was making points and at times closed his eyes for lengthy periods of time. Some in the meeting thought he had “tuned out.” The article was based on interviews with 45 people, some Republicans and some Democrats.

Recently, transcripts have surfaced from Special Counsel Robert Hur’s interview with President Biden. This was part of the investigation of Biden’s handling of national security documents after his term as Vice President ended.

Reading the transcripts is a painful process for all Americans, especially those with loved ones who have experienced cognitive decline. His answers are what you would encounter when conversing with someone at a nursing home. The Attorney General, Merrick Garland, has refused to release the video of the interview because it would make evident the cognitive decline that Biden has experienced.

Biden has governed as one would expect a leftist President to govern. What is scary to all Americans is that the world is observing Biden’s behavior. It is clear that he is in cognitive decline.

This is not the first time our nation has experienced a President with cognitive decline. Woodrow Wilson suffered a stroke during his presidency and was hidden from the public during the remainder of his term. Hiding the President was much easier in 1919.

There are some who believe that Ronald Reagan experienced cognitive decline at the end of his 2nd term as president. He was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease after his term ended.

The scary part is that if Biden is re-elected President, any further cognitive decline could put our nation at further risk.

Something Is Wrong With Uncle Joe

During George H. W. Bush’s presidency, it was joked that he insured himself from assassination by selecting Dan Quayle as his running mate. It was joked that no assassin would want to make Quayle President.

Americans are now facing a similar conundrum with Biden. Which is worse: an incompetent Biden or an inept Kamala?
