In recent weeks, palace officials have made it clear that the Royal Family will no longer remain mute in the wake of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s allegations.
After Meghan and Harry accused the Royal Family of racism and mental abuse in their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey in March, Best Life Online said that the Queen reacted to the claims in a brief statement, saying that “recollections may vary” in reference to the allegations.

The royals remained mute once more when Harry accused the Royal Family of being insensitive to mental health difficulties in his Apple TV+ documentary The Me You Can’t See.
“At that point, the family felt it best to stay the course and do what they always did which was to keep calm and carry on,” a source said. “But things keep escalating. The Palace was starting to realize something had to be done about the nonstop barrage of these destructive and questionable comments.”

The new ITV documentary Harry and William: What Went Wrong, which aired last Sunday, is said to have prompted the palace to decide that it was time to “step in.”
Kensington Palace aides may have placed stories in newspapers regarding Harry’s mental health, according to Omid Scobie, a friend of Meghan and Harry’s who published the book “Finding Freedom.” He then revealed that William was the one who directed aides to do this, which was stunning.
According to reliable sources, this is the final straw for the palace
“[Scobie’s] comments crossed the line and could not be ignored,” according to a royal source. “William was deeply concerned about Harry’s state of mind and would have never had his staff leak stories about his brother’s mental health. Besides being protective of the family, William has been championing the need for mental health awareness for years. The Palace had to step in.”
While Scobie’s remarks were included in the documentary’s rough version, references about Harry’s mental health were eliminated after palace officials intervened and cautioned ITV that they may be considered defamatory.
Instead, Scobie’s remark was broadcast in its place: “I would say it was no coincidence that it was shortly after [the Bradby interview] aired, I believe the next day, that there were source quotes that came from a very senior aide at Kensington Palace that said that William was worried about his brother. Now, whether William directed that or not, no one will ever know. But it came from his household, the household that he is the boss of.”
“This was clearly a warning shot that these kinds of allegations will not be left unaddressed,” one insider said. “Harry and Meghan now know their comments and those of their supporters won’t go unchecked. It could be a game-changer.”
We’re relieved to see that the Queen is no longer putting up with this crap.
The slogan of “keep calm and carry on” may have worked in the past, but Meghan and Harry are unafraid. And they’ve proven time and time again that they’ll say anything to discredit the Royal Family.
The Queen will not be allowing Meghan and Harry to walk all over her any longer, so hopefully, they heard this warning shot loud and clear.
