The 2021 Cannes Film Festival is kicking off!
The jury members of this year’s festival all came together for a photocall, as well as joining forces at the premiere of Annette, on Tuesday (July 6) in Cannes, France.

This year’s President is producer, writer and director Spike Lee, and he’s joined by five women and three men of seven nationalities, all set to enjoy 24 films featured in the 2021 competition.
The full jury is: director Mati Diop, singer-songwriter Mylène Farmer, Maggie Gyllenhaal, director and screenwriter Jessica Hausner, actress Mélanie Laurent, director Kleber Mendonça Filho, actor Tahar Rahim and actor Song Kang-ho.
Together, the group attended the Annette screening and opening ceremony during the 74th annual film festival. The movie, which stars Adam Driver and Marion Cotillard, is about a stand-up comedian and his opera singer wife who have a 2 year old daughter with a surprising gift.
