Granddaughter of Legendary Jazz Singer Says Kamala Bullied Her Grandmother to Near Suicide
Well, it looks like Kamala Harris and notorious “bully” Chrissy Teigen have something in common.

They both enjoy bulling people to the brink of suicide, apparently.
That’s the claim coming from the granddaughter of legendary black jazz singer Nina Simone.
She took to Twitter to call out Kamala for bullying and abusing her grandmother and destroying her family in court and driving her grandmother to “near-suicide” over the family’s estate.

Bizpacreview reported that the granddaughter of legendary jazz singer and civil rights activist Nina Simone is accusing Vice President Kamala Harris of stealing the family estate and giving it to “white people.” She claims that Harris “bullied” her mother in court to the point of near suicide.
“Nina’s granddaughter here,” ReAnna Simone Kelly tweeted on Saturday after someone asked why a Twitter account was created for the late singer. “My family doesn’t run her estate anymore. It was taken away from us [and] given to white people. Our family name was DRAGGED in the media. We get NO royalties, nothing. Wanna hold someone accountable? Ask Kamala Harris why she came for my family.”
“Ask her why she separated my family. Ask her why my grandmothers estate is in SHAMBLES now. Ask her why we as her family no longer own the rights to anything,” Simone Kelly demanded. “Ask her why she bullied my mother in court and my mom almost killed herself from the depression,” she added.

Ask her why my mother had a gag order put on her and can not speak on these things. Ask her why she didn’t even want my mom to be able to say she was Nina Simone’s daughter. Ask her why she wanted us to walk away with NOTHING.
My grandmother created something beautiful with her life while she was here on this earth, even through all her pain. I am SO PROUD of her legacy!! I am so proud to be her grandchild. But I feel separated from my legacy. As if it isn’t even mine. Let me explain
My grandmother is influencing the masses (as she should!!). I see her on billboards. I see artists covering her music. It breaks my heart to know that white people are making money off of grandmas hard work and that we have had all of our rights as her family STRIPPED from us!!
I’m going to leave it at that for now. Do your research if you like, but know that there is A LOT of slander out there on my mother. There was a lot of false information put out there that is NOT TRUE. Listen. WE LIVED IT. We are still living in the aftermath of this.
&ask yourself this question. With grandma Nina being as famous as she is. With all of these artists covering her. Her name & likeness being used by damn near everybody. Why is it that her family is living paycheck to paycheck? Why do I have to consider stripping to pay my bills?
OH WAIT, While we’re asking Kamala questions ask her why after all of this pain and suffering she put us through a Nina Simone song was sang at the inauguration to swear her in as VP?! She knew what she was doing.
Singer John Legend, the husband of online “suicide bully” Chrissy Teigen, performed Nina Simone’s classic hit “Feeling Good” during President Joe Biden’s 2021 inauguration.
That had to be a gut punch for the family.
