Zac Efron is officially an Emmy winner!

On Sunday (July 18), it was announced that the 33-year-old actor won his first Emmy award at the 2021 Daytime Emmy Awards, which announced the winners in the fiction and lifestyle fields.

Zac won the award for Daytime Program Host for his Netflix series Down to Earth with Zac Efron.

After his win was announced, Zac took to social media to celebrate.

“Wow! Never expected this and so grateful. A HUGE thank you to @DaytimeEmmys @netflix and our small but powerful crew, #downtoearth who made this show what it is. And most of all, thank all of you for watching and enjoying D2E. This is for you,” Zac tweeted.

Zac has been busy filming the upcoming second season of Down To Earth with Zac Efron, which brings viewers to beautiful locales where they seek out sustainable practices in a way that is both educational and enlightening, embracing local food, culture and customs throughout their journey.
