Earlier this week, Dwayne Johnson celebrated the end of filming his upcoming movie Black Adam.
The 49-year-old actor took to Instagram to share a video of himself during his last day of filming the DC Comics movie where he thanked the cast and crew for their work on the movie.

“I can’t thank you enough from the bottom of my heart for this experience,” Dwayne said. “This has been once in a lifetime for me…. Black Adam, it’s a career-definer for me.”
Dwayne also shared his gratitude in the caption, writing, “Honored and proud to say that’s an official wrap on BLACK ADAM⚡️ I knew many years ago, the opportunity for me to make BLACK ADAM would be a ONCE IN A CAREER EVENT.”
“It has been my true honor to go shoulder to shoulder with over 1,000 brilliant and hungry crew of filmmakers and storytellers to bring the antihero known as, BLACK ADAM to life. This has been one for the ages and easily the hardest labor and toughest grind mentally and physically of my entire career. Worth. Every. Second,” he continued. “Love you all. Thank you all. And I’ll see you down the road. Now go have some fun with that $10,000 ??The hierarchy of power in the DC UNIVERSE is changing. Black Adam⚡️”
While plot details about the movie are still under wraps, Black Adam will star Dwayne as the title character, alongside Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, as well as Marwan Kenzari.
It was also revealed that Pierce Brosnan has joined the pic as Kent Nelson, aka the good Dr. Fate. Learn more about his character here.
