Finally, someone is cleaning up the Social Security Administration (SSA) database. For decades, the US Social Security Administration has failed to maintain an accurate database. Countless administrations ignored the situation and allowed an inefficient system to become corrupted.
The Trump administration, under Social Security Commissioner Frank Bisignano, has finally begun correcting the troves of inaccurate data. The SSA has now corrected 15% of all active Social Security numbers across the 390 million total records.
The Social Security database is important because it impacts federal and state spending. Social Security records are referenced by federal and state agencies to validate identities and prevent improper payments of taxpayer dollars.
When the DOGE team entered the federal workforce database they quickly uncovered the fact that the records were abysmally inaccurate which allowed fraudsters to rip off the taxpayers.
Of course, when the problems with the Social Security records were revealed, the Democrats erupted with NO KINGS protests and marches to claim that vulnerable Americans were being harmed.
The opposite was true. Over 17 million date of death records have been added to the database. Over 25 million records that were missing citizenship information have been updated.
The SSA is currently in the process of correcting an additional 8.5 million records with inaccurate citizenship records. Of course, the typical Democrat does not understand that the sloppy SSA records were hurting our economy. Many Democrats are calling for more government spending and get upset at any upgrades that prevent further spending.
The steps that the Trump Administration has taken to update the Social Security data will prevent fraudsters from stealing from the US taxpayers. This will allow more money to be available to the people who need the government assistance.
