The decisive action by the United States and Israel against Iran has check-mated China’s strategy of supporting the Ayatollah Khomeini in order to create headaches for the United States. A reasonable person would question why China, a world power, would align itself with the Ayatollah Khomeini and his mullahs since they are hated throughout Iran because of their brutal repression of the Iranian people. (Some experts state that the approval rating of the Ayatollah was at 15% in Iran)

China’s leader, Xi,  made a tactical decision to support Khomeini because he believed that the US would never topple Khomeini and as a result, Khomeini and his followers would continue to tie up US assets in the Middle East and thus keep America preoccupied while China reasserted itself in the Far East. China used Iran as a vassal state and began shipping Mach 3 missiles to Iran and began purchasing 80% of the oil that Iran produces. China’s purchases of oil from Iran reached 1.38 million barrels of oil per day. China was able to purchase this oil at a discount because the oil was sanctioned by the United States and thus had few potential buyers.

Over the past few days, the world has watched the US military take decisive action against Iran who was supposedly a strategic partner of China. This has made China look weak on the international stage. This lack of action by China will make world leaders think twice about aligning themselves with China against the US.

There were numerous reasons for sending Khomeini on  a quick trip to the “brothel in the sky.”

He has continued to foment unrest in the Middle East because of his hatred for Jews. His actions for the past decades have cost millions of Iranians the ability to rise up economically and enter the modern world. His repression of women in Iran forced millions of women in Iran to live their lives without real opportunities to advance economically and socially. His support for terrorists in the region has prevented the investment in other Middle East countries that could have lifted hundreds of millions of Arabs out of poverty.

The secondary benefit of Trump’s decisive action against Iran is that it exposed China as a world power but not the ultimate superpower. A superpower would not have allowed the US to decimate a strategic partner. China miscalculated because they had observed that numerous US Presidents allowed Khomeini and his mullah thugs to disrupt the Middle East while brutalizing his citizens. China did not believe that the US would pull the trigger to depose Khomeini.

Trump understood that a peaceful Middle East could not develop with Khomeini and his jew-hating followers in power. Today, the future of the Middle East looks brighter and China has been exposed as a wanna-be superpower.
