Better late than never. The European politicians who claimed, like the American Democrats, that open borders were helpful, are now running for cover and changing their public proclamations towards mass immigration. We witness daily examples of immigrants in European countries causing disruption to the social order. Multiple cities are culturally changed and many are now ruled according to religious law.
Recent local elections in Great Britain have caused Keir Starmer, the Labor Party leader and Prime Minister of Great Britain, to reverse course and oppose unlimited immigration. He has realized that the lunatic ideas of George Soros and the American Democrats, that you can have open borders, has his party on the defensive with the public.
For years, anyone who questioned the “open borders” policy was deemed racist by the leftist politicians and the mainstream media. The mainstream media refused to allow an honest discussion about the repercussions of the policy. Any person who made a case against the open borders was effectively censored by the media outlets. The censorship allowed the open borders policy to be implemented even though a majority of people knew the policy was a mistake.
Finally, Starmer realized that he was out of step with his constituents and admitted that mass immigration is turning Britain into an “island of strangers.” Starmer noted that the open borders policy was a bad system that is prone to abuse and resulted in “everyone breaking the rules.”
In Denmark, the Socialist Democratic Party was successful at the ballot box by promising to protect the Danish way. Until recently, the media would call this promise a racist rant. Now, Denmark is severely limiting new immigration.
Mass immigration was lauded by the Democratic Party along with their novel approach of refusing to prosecute criminals for breaking the law. Both policies were abysmal failures that hurt the middle class’ standard of living. By adopting these policies that were championed by leftist college professors, the Democrats lost the working class voters. Trump seized the opening and won the election by promising to end these ridiculous policies. The world has noticed and is copying Trump’s policies.
