President Trump blew into Washington like a Kansas tornado. Unlike eight years ago, Trump realizes he cannot rely on the entrenched bureaucrats to help carry out his agenda. Bureaucrats are worried about three things: working as little as possible, working from home and keeping their big paychecks.
Trump realizes that as he sets the overall vision, he needs young aggressive business people to push through the implementation of his agenda. Bureaucrats tend to be lazy and they have no idea how hard successful people must work to get ahead. This is true in Washington DC and Manatee County.
5 years ago I listened as a Manatee county bureaucrat mocked Trump and his response to Covid. This Manatee bureaucrat did not like going to the office for meetings. Guess what, Manatee bureaucrats are still working from home.
Trump’s DOGE crew are putting in long hours exposing the terrible organizations that are receiving taxpayer money. “So called” religious groups are receiving taxpayer dollars given to them by Democrat bureaucrats. These religious groups take the money and use it to help illegals enter the country. Think about that. We are paying groups to help illegals come into our country. The Democrats are determined to keep this money flowing to illegals. They even manage to give money to the Palestinian groups that are protesting in support of Hamas as they harass Jewish students on college campuses.
Only Democrats and the mainstream press would protest attempts to stop government waste.
Trump is not waiting on the bureaucrats to enact his policies. When he realized that China has been using their control over the Panama Canal to hurt American interests, he acted. Instead of ignoring the issue like Biden and the State Department had for years, Trump sent Marco Rubio to Panama to tell them to stop cozying up to China. Panama now understands that America will not allow China to take control of a crucial waterway.
When Columbia’s President changed his mind and said that he would not accept illegals being shipped back to Columbia, Trump slapped tariffs on Columbia and their President backed down.
It is a new world order and the bureaucrats in Washington DC and Brussels, Belgium are not ready for the change that is coming. Buckle up!
