Biden Pushes Inflation In Federal Pojects

Biden and the Democrats are determined to push inflation higher by increasing the cost of federal construction contracts. The Business Observer reported that Biden has issued a regulation that gives construction companies that use union workers a huge advantage when they bid on federal contracts. Biden requires Project Labor Agreements (PLAs)  on federal contracts. This requires construction companies to use unionized laborers if they wish to be awarded the bid.

Nationwide, only 10% of construction workers are unionized. The Biden administration is giving a huge advantage to only 10% of the workforce when they bid on these projects. It appears that Biden is doing this to obtain more campaign donations from the labor unions.

This regulation is being challenged by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). ABC has estimated that this federal regulation will affect at least 119 federal construction contracts. The regulation makes it nearly impossible for a construction company using non-union workers to get a federal contract.

The other effect of this Democrat regulation is an increase in construction costs. Firms that use union workers realize that they can bid a higher amount than a company using non-union workers and still be awarded the contract.

Ben Brubeck, an ABC vice president, has estimated that the regulation has raised federal construction costs by 12-20 percent.

This is just another example of how Biden and his leftist appointees are hurting our economy. Biden’s lunacy never ends. I hope I never run out of ink because the Democrats continue to provide fodder for more expos`es.
