The Palestinian Authority Is No Better Than Hamas

The Biden Administration is pushing for the Palestinian Authority, the Arab political party that controls the West Bank, to be given control over the Gaza Strip. A large percentage of the Democratic Party supports Hamas. The leaders of the Democrat Party understand that it will be difficult to get political support for allowing Hamas to continue to control the Gaza Strip after the horrendous acts of October 7th.

The Democrats are pressuring Israel to allow the Palestinian Authority, which controls the West Bank, to be given control of the Gaza Strip once Israel has finished their military operations. The Democrats claim that the Palestinian Authority is better than Hamas. That is similar to claiming that the Japanese were more civilized than the Germans in World War II.

The Palestinian Authority has had a long-standing practice of paying stipends to the family members of terrorists who are killed in action. If you are a suicide bomber who kills civilians, your family receives a stipend for life from the Palestinian Authority. If you are a terrorist who is captured by the Israelis, your family receives a stipend. This Palestinian Authority practice is referred to as the “pay for slay” program.

The Wall Street Journal recently quoted Itamar Marcus of the Palestinian Media Watch who said: “the Palestinian Authority does not differentiate between Hamas terrorists who committed atrocities after invading Israel on October 7, the Hamas terrorists killed by Israel in the ensuing war, and civilian non-combatants killed in the Gaza Strip while being used as human shields by Hamas.”

They are all given stipends that ultimately come from Western Aid. The Democrats are such stooges to put their faith in the Palestinian Authority. It seems the whole party is full of Neville Chamberlains.

Israel, on the other hand, knows that neither the Palestinian Authority nor Hamas can be trusted to govern anyone in the Middle East.
