Quick Bit: The Seahawks and Giants duel in a Monday night clash between two teams seeking yet another playoff appearance.

Full Story:

It’s only been three games. But the Giants’ season has been nothing short of a disaster thus far.

The $160 million man, Daniel Jones looked like he turned a corner in 2022, finally establishing himself as one of the league’s better gunslingers. That progress has dwindled in 2023; Jones has tossed more interceptions than touchdowns.

He hasn’t had a lot of help. Saquon Barkley’s ankle injury hasn’t helped. Neither has the Murderer’s Row New York has faced in its opening three contests. The Giants saw their sole victory of the season — a tight win over the better-than-expected Cardinals — bookended by comfortable losses to two of the best teams in the land, the Cowboys and the 49ers.

Things don’t get much easier in Week 4. Waiting for them in the wings is a Seahawks side that has shown a proclivity for pouring points on opposition defenses.

It may get worse before it gets better for New York fans. Then again, a strong showing could go a long way in reversing the course for Big Blue, who look more pretender than contender at present.
