Become a Transgender Person For Cash

According to the Los Angeles Times, the City of San Francisco launched a guaranteed income program aimed at the transgender community. The Guaranteed Income for Transgender People (GIFT) is a pilot program that will provide $1200 a month for transgender people along with healthcare. 

For those of you who wonder why conservatives fought so hard to re-elect Ron DeSantis and defeat Charlie Crist, this is an example of what happened in Gavin Newsom’s California. Leftists have captured the state of California and they are now using taxpayer dollars to directly fund any group they deem worthy of their support. 

The average American is working hard to overcome the effects of Joe Biden’s inflation. Many taxpayers are finding that the money they earn today does not have the same purchasing power that it had 2 years ago. The average grocery bill has increased by 20% in just 2 years. Many people are forced to work 2 jobs just to provide the necessities for their families. 

For many people, the cost of heating their home this winter has increased dramatically because of Joe Biden’s policies that have resulted in fuel shortages. 

Imagine taxpayers who rise early to earn money to feed, clothe and shelter their families hearing that the City of San Francisco is giving $1200 a month to people just because these people have decided they wish to switch their sexual identity. 

I do not cast aspersions on people who decide they need to change their sexual identity as long as they are of legal age. I do have a problem with taxpayer money being given to them because of their sexual preference. Should someone who decides they only wish to have sex with redheads be able to claim a government stipend?

The absurdity of this program is astounding but not surprising in a city that is dominated by leftists. Who said elections don’t matter?

The eminent historians Will and Ariel Durant once said:”A great civilization is not conquered from without until it has destroyed itself from within.” It appears that many Americans are determined to erase any vestige of what made America great. To them a person’s ethnic group, sexual preference or gender designation is more important that a person’s willingness to work hard to get ahead. 

This Thanksgiving I am thankful that I live in a state where Republicans dominate and Andrew Gillum and Charlie Crist are relegated to the losers side of history.
