It was great to see so many of our current and retired firefighters at the opening of Fire Station 3 yesterday. There was so much pride on display, and, as Mayor, it was great to witness. We will be seeing more of that as we work on a new Fire Station 2, which will serve our east side. With this and with all other City projects, we seek and look forward to citizen input while we move forward. I invite our citizens to check our website for meeting times and agendas and to join us to take part in your City government.
Please take a moment on Memorial Day to remember the families of those who gave their lives for our freedom. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you.
