Is America embroiled in a spiritual war? The difference between the left and liberalism

I have come to realize that there is a difference between the so-called “left,” and liberals.

It’s yet another division within the dying democratic party, and more importantly, yet another infection that spreads to all.

I read an interesting piece this week about how the left is evil and how liberals keep saving them. As usual, I agreed with some of what was said, and disagreed with other parts.

However, I came away with my own understanding of the concept of what was being said.

We all know by now that liberalism is a scientifically proven mental disorder, and I agree there is a difference between that and the left being outright evil. And, of course, it makes sense that the liberal mental defect aids the left’s quest for power.

So is the left really evil? I mean evil in its purest meaning? And does that equate to an American spiritual war? In a Biblical sense?

I believe so, and here’s why.

The left wants to enslave you in the sense that it wants, and tries, to strip away your freedoms to give them all of the control over your life.

It not only kills unborn life, but brags about it. It removes God from school and public events and spaces. It does nothing to prevent human slaughter and sacrifices its own without remorse.

Declare yourself a Christian in Hollywood or as an athlete and you are shunned, canceled and mocked. Look at what is happening to Chris Pratt or what happened to Tim Tebow.

The left embraces dissent and chaos as it did during all the riots where criminals were being called peaceful protestors on live television with buildings burned in the background.

The left attempts to kill free speech, free will, promotes racism, are anti-Israel while supporting terrorist states, and generally promotes anarchy.

A Conservative, white, Christian person is met with vitriol, hatred and are persecuted. A black, Christian person is labeled Uncle Tom and belittled.

The left calls for less police, supports criminals over victims and bends the knee to barbaric rulers across the globe, often giving them more power while weakening America. They do this because they aren’t shy about their outwardly hatred for America.

And yet they call themselves Americans and even go as far as to call themselves patriots. Neither is true.

The piece I read, which was written by a pretty hardcore Conservative, said liberals don’t have the same values as the left and are actually more aligned with Conservatives.

It would take more of an argument to convince me of that, but let’s aside the liberal aspect of it and focus on the evil left.

If you really look at what the left stands for, it’s pretty clear that they are a movement of hate and power. I’d call that pretty evil.

But a spiritual war of a Biblical sense?

I am no Crusader, but I do know reality when I see it, so I leave you with some simple truths:

“Satan himself masquerades as an angel of  light.” 2 Corinthians 11:14

And …

“Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:11 11-12.

I don’t consider myself a man of God. I do consider myself a Christian in the sense that I know I’m deeply flawed, but I know Jesus loves me anyway because I love Him.

So I’m not a so-called Bible thumper by any stretch of the imagination. I am the guy who would rather see the “flesh and blood” battle. As I’ve said in the past, let the far left meet us on the battlefield. Let us draw swords and axes and let us settle this matter in a brutal and bloody manner.

It’s much simpler and just how I roll. I was definitely born in the wrong century and I know it. I also don’t apologize for it. It doesn’t take much for me to know that Mike Tyson was within his rights to punch that idiot on the plane in the face.

And I’m no Mike Tyson fan. But sometimes true justice doesn’t follow man-written laws. The guy had it coming.

But as the Bible states, this battle between good and evil is much more complicated. The devil (or the left) has been working hard for decades to push God out of America, and it continues to do so to this very day.

And the devil has been succeeding, if you ask me.

It has infected our schools, indoctrinated our youth and has spread to the point of the left gaining more and more power. If you look at it in simple terms: The more God is pushed out of America, the more opportunity the devil has to take up the slack.

Even more simple is: If you turn out the lights, darkness reigns. Especially when you purposefully remove the light bulb.

I’d call that evil.

We must remember that America was founded on Christian principles, even if those Christians were flawed themselves. This part of the equation matters not. We must keep God in America.

And we must never, ever apologize for believing in our hearts when we say, “God bless America.” A liberal wrote that phrase, by the way, which gives some validity to the argument being made that liberals – if they were capable of overcoming their mental deficiency of processing rational thought incorrectly – are in the wrong camp.

When you look at what the left believes in, and the policies that leftist leaders implement, which does so much harm to people, country and to God, I think the answer to the primary question of, “Is the left evil?” is pretty clear.

We are on many fronts in this battle to save America. But our greatest weapon and ally is God Himself. We must return God to America to shine His light back into the expanding darkness that is dimming the glow of this great shining light on the hill.

As I sometimes like to say, America is that shining light. Sometimes we just have to change the bulb.

It’s time to change the bulb.
