JFCS of the Suncoast Appoints New Chief of Client Services

SARASOTA, FL – (February 22, 2022) JFCS of the Suncoast is excited to announce the appointment of Eddie Collins as the new Chief of Client Services. In this position, Collins will be a part of the Executive Team and will oversee all non-clinical programs and services including: Homeless and Prevention Services, Operation Military Assistance Program for veterans, Career and Financial Advancement, Building Strong Families, and Ignite and REACH, our fatherhood and relationship programs.

Collins comes to JFCS with a strong background and extensive experience in the non-profit sector and the social services, mental health, and healthcare industries. Prior to joining JFCS, Eddie spent 14 years at Boley Centers, a St. Petersburg not-for-profit organization serving people with mental disabilities, individuals and families who are homeless, and veterans. He started out as the Director of the Comprehensive Community Service Team but was quickly promoted to Vice President of Residential Services. Prior to his time at Boley, Collins worked for Coastal Behavioral Healthcare for 12 years as a case manager, coordinator of community services, and director providing clinical and administrative supervision.

Collins holds a Masters in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida. He is a licensed mental health counselor with a certification in substance abuse addiction. A proud father of five, he has been married to his wife for 20 years. Collins enjoys traveling with his family, exercising and cooking.
