Zunino (hip) is not starting Tuesday’s game against Baltimore, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Zunino exited Monday’s game with tightness in his left hip flexor. It’s possible the backstop was already in line for a rest, so it’s unclear if the hip issue forced him out of Tuesday’s lineup. He can continue to be considered day-to-day for the time being, and the Rays will likely provide an additional update later Tuesday.
