Gossip Girl’s Savannah Smith Kicks Off Soapbox Giving Tour in NYC
Gossip Girl‘s Savannah Smith wears a summery dress for the Soapbox Giving Tour in New York City on Thursday (July 15).
The 20-year-old actress, who is a redhead now, met with Soapbox founder David Simnick as they assembled hygiene kits for local charities.
The tour, and a giant 21ft bottle of Soapbox handsoap, will travel to 16 cities, remind people to continue to wash their hands and garner a Guinness Book World Record for most hygiene products donated in a week.
In NYC, 9,600 bars of soap were donated to Dominican Women’s Development Center and 200 hygiene kits were donated to students in temporary housing within NYC Dept. of Education and Hearts of Gold.
Just a few weeks ago, Savannah stepped out for the premiere of Gossip Girl with her co-stars.
