As the Tampa Bay Lightning was securing its second straight Stanley Cup on July 7, a giraffe at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay was in labor. Enter Stanley the giraffe.
Mama giraffe Angel and baby are doing well, and the internet has another case of Stanley fever.
“Welcome Stanley You are adorable,” one Facebook user commented.
“His name could not be more fitting!” another said.
Stanley and Angel will rejoin the herd when he matures, although Stanley is already doing things to become a crowd favorite. Busch Gardens will be giving out two free beer samples through July 31 to celebrate Stanley’s birth and the Lightning’s Stanley cup victory.
