The streaming service will launch Kids Top 10 today, which is basically a children’s programming-specific version of the Top 10 rankings you see in adult profiles on Netflix. Titles in the top ten will be PG-rated or below.
Netflix also announced that they will begin sending out a Kids Recap Email to parents and guardians with info on content and what to watch.
“We’ve seen how Top 10 rows help our members find something to watch, and helping families make the best decisions has always been important to us,” Jennifer Nieva, director of product innovation at Netflix, said. The Kids Top 10, she said, “can help kids and families find something to watch and bring them closer together.
If you don’t know, Netflix’s most streamed show of 2021 is actually a children’s show!
