‘The Witcher’ Season 2 Premiere Date Announced, Episode Titles Revealed

Netflix has unveiled some big news about the upcoming second season of Henry Cavill‘s series The Witcher!

The WitcherCon fan event was held on Friday (July 9) and the streamer unveiled some news about season two, including the premiere date, a teaser trailer, and the episode titles.

Here is the show’s synopsis: “Geralt of Rivia (Cavill), a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.”

The second season will premiere on Friday, December 17.

A season two synopsis has been revealed: “Convinced Yennefer’s (Anya Chalotra) life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla (Freya Allan) to the safest place he knows — his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.”

The episode titles for seven of the eight episodes are “A Grain of Truth,” “Kaer Morhen,” “What Is Lost,” “Redanian Intelligence,” “Turn Your Back,” “Dear Friend” and “Voleth Meir.” The title of the season finale has not yet been unveiled.

Exciting casting news for the spinoff to The Witcher was just announced.
