Counting Crows’ Adam Duritz Recalls Dating Jennifer Aniston Before ‘Friends’ Fame
Adam Duritz is opening up about his relationship with Jennifer Aniston in a brand new sneak peek of VICE TV‘s Dark Side of the ’90s.
The Counting Crows frontman recalled that he and Jennifer dated just as her fame from Friends was starting to take off.

In the sneak peek for the upcoming program, Adam opened up about how their friends tricked them into their relationship.
He shared that he “lived at The Viper Room, night in and night out” and he “met Jennifer Aniston.”
“A bunch of my friends lied to me and told me she had a crush on me. Those same friends lied to her and told her I had a crush on her. I honestly had no idea who she was, I had been on the road during all of Friends. I had never seen it, I don’t think,” Adam added.
Adam called Jennifer “really nice, really funny, really pretty,” before adding, “And also, she liked me.”
Jennifer and Adam called it quits not long after they started dating in 1995.
“It didn’t last very long, but she’s a nice girl,” he said.
Just recently, Jennifer revealed she had a crush on this co-star.
