“I have never changed my stance nor my story. I have always maintained my innocence,” Bill wrote.

“Thank you to all my fans, supporters and friends who stood by me through this ordeal,” the statement continued. “Special thanks to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court for upholding the rule of law. #BillCosby”

Earlier that day, Bill was freed from prison two years into his 10-year sentence.

Hours later, Bill was photographed reuniting with loved ones at his mansion in Pennsylvania.

He was originally charged in 2015, and convicted in 2018, and sentenced to three to ten years for the raping of Andrea Constand at his Philadelphia home in 2004. The court ruled this week that an agreement he made with former prosecutor Bruce Castor in 2005 should have prevented him from being charged again.

One of Bill‘s former co-star is getting a lot of backlash for celebrating his return.
