This time it involves all sorts of nepotism. Elites scratching each other’s backs…it’s what the Bidens are best known for, and a political leopard never changes his spots, so can we really be shocked by this?
Axios reported that at least five children of President Biden’s top aides got jobs in the administration, per The Washington Post.
Why it matters: Ethics and diversity experts say Biden has not deviated far enough away from the practices of President Trump, who they say engaged in nepotism and cronyism, per the Post.
Flashback: Biden on the campaign trail promised that no member of his family would be involved in government, departing from President Trump, who hired his daughter and son-in-law to work as unpaid senior advisers.

As of now, none of Biden’s direct family members serve in the administration.
Among those hired who have personal ties to the administration include two sons and a daughter of Biden’s counselor and longtime aide, Steve Ricchetti, as Axios previously reported.
It also includes the daughter of a deputy White House chief of staff and the daughter of the director of presidential personnel, per the Post.
Other relatives of top Biden aides who have been hired include the wife of White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain and the sister of White House press secretary Jen Psaki, per the Washington Post.
There is no evidence that Biden’s aides have influenced the hiring of their children or other relatives, per the Washington Post.
Federal law generally prohibits government officials from hiring close relatives or encouraging their hiring.
The Biden administration has maintained that every new hire has been qualified for the role.
Qualified as in “being buddies or family with other rich Dems.”
But what the Biden admin is doing is so bad that a former Obama “ethics” admin took to Twitter to absolutely shred Biden.
New York Post reported that Walter Shaub, director of the US Office of Government Ethics from 2013 to 2017, gained fame for frequently faulting the Trump administration, but turned his fire on President Biden on Friday.
“I’m sorry, I know some folks don’t like hearing any criticism of him. But this royally sucks. I’m disgusted. A lot of us worked hard to tee him up to restore ethics to government and believed the promises. This is a real ‘f— you’ to us—and government ethics,” Shaub tweeted.
Shaub was responding to reports that many children, spouses and siblings of top Biden aides got official jobs — despite harsh criticism of President Donald Trump for naming his daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, as unpaid White House advisers.
And now, Jen Psaki is left holding the scandal in her incapable hands, trying to spin this bombshell report, and she’s clearly sweating bullets.
