Billie Lourd Explained How She Was Able To Keep Her Pregnancy A Secret And It Makes So Much Sense

When Billie Lourd got pregnant before the coronavirus pandemic, she didn’t know how she was going to keep her pregnancy under wraps. But once quarantine began, the actor realized it was going to be easier than she thought.

“I got to keep it to myself. Only my family knew and nobody else knew, like everyone was so surprised when we posted that little picture of his feet,” she said on SiriusXM’s podcast Quarantined with Bruce.

“It got to just be something I shared with the people I loved the most, which was so incredible and made my pregnancy so magical and wonderful, which I did not expect it was going to be,” Lourd added.

It wasn’t until September 2020 that fans figured out Lourd had a baby with her fiancé, Austen Rydell. The Scream Queens star shared a cute photo of her baby Kingston’s feet and captioned the post, “???Introducing: ???Kingston Fisher Lourd Rydell???.”

While looking back at her pregnancy, Lourd says she has had “the greatest experience” because, for once, she wasn’t in the public eye.

“I got to just eat great food, hang out with the people I love, [and] do Legos all the time. I took a hypnobirthing class. I loved being pregnant.”

We’re so happy that Lourd had such a great experience. Kingston is lucky to have her as his mom!
