The recent Presidential election may have been the last gasp of middle to upper age college educated white women who believe that unlimited abortion access is the most important issue our nation faces.
Kamala and the menopausal elite were convinced that making abortion a central issue of the election was a winning formula. Some of these menopausal white women have trouble remembering when they ever needed an abortion.
It is a shame that there is so little middle ground on this issue. The Democrats are wary of putting any limits on abortion because the geriatric white liberals would burn their walkers in protest. Many Republicans believe that any abortion is murder so there is no room for negotiations. This leaves little room for common ground.
The fallacy of the Democrats is believing that this issue is a political winner. Most Americans have access to abortions and the idea of making it a talking point seems crass.
The Democrats, however, keep appealing to the geriatric caucus and Republicans are the beneficiaries. The far left wing of the Democrat Party (sadly it is the majority of the party) has demanded that abortion on demand be the headline of the Democrat’s talking points. The American voters were not impressed.
