Everyday, millions of Americans go to work and provide sustenance for themselves and their families. We all recall the saying, “An honest day’s pay for an honest day’s work.”

This saying does not apply to many federal government agencies. Since the advent of the Covid crisis, the federal government workforce has vacated their offices, gone home and they refuse to come back. (They have no problem accepting the direct deposit paychecks)

Two United States Senators, Joni Ernst, a Republican and Gary Peters, a Democrat, have said enough is enough. The Senate Homeland Security Committee approved a bill on a 12-2 vote that would require federal departments to establish their work-at-home policies and officially count how many people come into the office.

According to National Review, not a single federal agency used even half of its office space during a 3 month period last year. The Social Security Agency had 7% of its space occupied.

According to federal information, government workers at the Commerce Department claim to live in Washington DC when they have moved to other less expensive places to live. This false declaration allows them to collect higher pay that is given to workers living in DC.

Of course, Kamala and the Democrats have refused congressional attempts to discover how extensive this problem is.

You, the taxpayers, must show up to your office for work while federal government employees sit at home claiming they are working.

Much of the unused federal office space is rented which means your government is paying for federal office space that is sitting empty.

If you think this is fair, by all means, vote for Kamala. If you think this is bull-hit, vote for Trump and he will turn Elon loose on all this wasted federal spending.
