Democrats Drive Up Energy Costs

Why do so many people move from “blue states” to Florida? Why do so many Democrats move to Florida? I know, smart people know the answer but I like to educate our local Democrats and our RINOs. 

One big reason people move here is the affordability of electricity in Florida. According to the Wall Street Journal, eight of the ten most costly states for electricity have enacted renewable portfolio standards, “net zero” carbon emission mandates and regional “cap and trade” schemes. Guess what, all eight of these states are controlled by Democrats.

Let’s take a look at New York state. First of all, New York refused to allow development of its shale gas resources. New York also blocked the development of a natural gas pipeline because the leftists who control the state and mindlessly follow the far left’s hatred of natural gas.

Florida, under Republican leadership, has encouraged electricity producers to use natural gas even though Florida has no natural gas reserves. They realize that natural gas is much cleaner than coal and will be much more affordable than the fantasies of renewable energy. 

The Wall Street Journal reports that Pennsylvania pays 27% more for electricity than Florida. New York pays 60% more than Florida and California pays 137% more even though these states have natural gas reserves.

If Kamala is elected President, the Democrats will continue their rules that  are forcing coal powered power plants to shut down. Meanwhile the Democrats will continue to make  it more difficult to use natural gas to produce electricity. 

These Democrats have a fantasy that solar power is going to come to the rescue. The reality is that solar power will not produce anywhere near the amount of electricity to make up for the loss of coal powered power plants. This does not account at all for the projected increases in electricity demands that are needed for the development of artificial intelligence. 

If Kamala is elected, our nation will suffer power shortages because the Democrats do not understand how to run a functioning economy.
