During the Trump-Harris debate, ABC’s David Muir asserted that crime rates were falling across America. As usual, this was the mainstream media attempting to prop up the Kamala campaign.
Jeffrey Anderson, in the Wall Street Journal, recently reported on new findings released by the National Crime Victimization Survey. This survey is run by the Bureau of Justice Statistics and is administered by the US Census Bureau. The survey is huge and annually asks 230,000 US residents if they have been victims of crime.
The survey asks about the nature of the crime and whether the crime was reported to the police. For the year 2023, the report finds NO EVIDENCE that violent crime is dropping in America. In fact, violent crime in the US in 2023 was 19% higher than 2019. Remember, 2019 was the last year before the Democrats and Kamala started supporting the “Defund the Police” crazies.
The sad part revealed in the report is that violent crime has spiked in urban areas where the “Defund the Police” crazy Democrats are in control. In those urban areas, the violent crime rate rose 54% from 2019 through 2023. (For the Manatee Democrats, that is a huge increase)
The urban property crime rate rose 26% in the same period and the study does not include shoplifting in its figures.
For years the Democrats have controlled the urban areas of America. They have fooled many urban voters into believing that they were being protected by the Democrats. The reality is just the opposite. By putting handcuffs on the police and not the criminals, the Democrats have allowed crime to run rampant among the people who can least afford to hire private security. The citizens of these urban areas are the people who are the crime victims and they know the crime rates are increasing.
The Godfather of “Defund the Police” is George Soros. He gives hundreds of millions of dollars to Democrats. George Soros, of course, spends hundreds of millions of dollars on his own security. He rests comfortably in his mansions while his and Kamala’s policies bring destruction to our inner cities.
