The Toronto Raptors and Sacramento Kings get their preseason underway in Vancouver tonight in the ninth edition of the NBA Canada Series.

Tonight’s contest will mark the Raptors’ sixth preseason game in Vancouver and their first since 2018 as new head coach Darko Rajakovic takes charge on the sidelines for his first game.

The Raptors will get their first look at new recruits Dennis Schroder, Gradey Dick, and Markquis Nowell tonight, while Precious Achiuwa is set to miss the game after suffering a left groin strain.

Kings head coach Mike Brown said he expects his starters to play between 15-20 minutes in their preseason opener, with new recruit Sasha Vezenkov, the 2023 EuroLeague MVP set to make his unofficial Kings debut.
