When the Democrats opened our borders and made it easy for Muslims to enter our country from Africa, it opened a new era of unprecedented embezzlement of government funds that ended up in the coffers of terrorist groups. Sadly, the mainstream media and Democrat officials turned a blind eye to the fraud in order to win votes from the immigrant community.

Several years ago, Minnesota established a program to help senior citizens, addicts, disabled people and mentally ill people obtain housing. The program was a typical Democrat program that had minimal checks and balances. At the onset of the program, the cost was estimated to be $2.6 million. A ninth grader at any high school in Manatee County could have guessed where the program was headed.

Within 1 year, the program paid out more than $21 million in claims. Three years later the cost of the program was $104 million. Most of the increases were a result of fraud perpetrated by Somalian immigrants. Finally the program was terminated because of suspected fraud. What changed to stop this fraud was the election of President Trump. President Trump appointed US Attorneys who refused to ignore the fraud of the Somalian community in Minneapolis.

The Acting US Attorney for Minnesota, who was appointed by Trump, said that the vast majority of the program was fraudulent. Did Governor Tim Walz, the Democrat Governor of Minnesota, do anything about this fraud? No, he was more worried about putting tampons in male restrooms.

Recently, the Acting US Attorney, Joe Thompson, announced criminal indictments for fraud against numerous Somalis living in Minnesota. Thompson noted that these cases were not just for “overbilling” but rather for “purely fictitious companies solely created to defraud the system.”

These Somali defendants would recruit people that were recently released from rehabilitation programs and sign them up for Medicaid services that would not be provided. They would bill the government and give a portion of the funds to the person they had recruited.

These defendants also set up false fronts to deliver food to people during the Covid crisis. They faked meal counts and fabricated services. This scheme allowed the fake organizations to receive hundreds of millions of federal dollars.

If anyone questioned the companies’ legitimacy, of course, they claimed racism. In Minnesota, with Democrats in control, once someone claims racism, the investigations ended. (Remember the mayor of Minneapolis kneeling down to the looters after the George Floyd riots?)

These Somali scammers also defrauded the autism network. Imagine creating fake victims of autism in order to obtain government funds. The autism claims to Medicaid in Minnesota went from $3 million in 2018 to $399 million in 2023.

These Somali scammers stole from the taxpayers and the Minneapolis media ignored the whole scam.

The most scandalous part of this story is the fact that some of this stolen money has been sent to Al-Shabaab, the al-Qaida-linked Islamic terror group. The Somali immigrants allowed into the United States would fraudulently obtain taxpayer dollars and send some of the money back through Somali channels to terror groups.

It is hard to believe, but these people came to our country asking for shelter from their home country and then they began working as a group to steal from our federal government and the Minnesota state government.

This massive fraud is an example of what Elon Musk and the DOGE team were trying to end. Of course, the Democrats and the “No Kings” protestors fought any attempts to end this waste of taxpayer money.

Now that Trump’s prosecutors have begun exposing this scam, the Democrats in Minnesota, specifically Tim Walz, are looking at best incompetent and at worst complicit in fraud against the State of Minnesota and the US Treasury.
