Trump Is Prosecuting Drug Dealers That Democrats Have Allowed To Walk Free

It is perplexing that Democrats refuse to admit their “soft on crime” approach has led to appalling consequences for many urban areas across our country. Many residents of cities that are run by Democrats have suffered under prosecutors who refuse to prosecute criminals who terrorize the public. 

Fortunately, Donald Trump was elected president and he has dismissed the federal prosecutors who were appointed by Biden and his auto-pen. Trump has appointed federal prosecutors who understand the importance of getting drug dealers off the streets. 

When the local Democrat state prosecutors refuse to prosecute the drug dealers, Trump’s federal prosecutors are stepping in to fill the void.

Trump appointed Jay Clayton to the position of US Attorney for the Southern District of New York. This includes New York City where local Democrat prosecutors have refused to put criminals behind bars. Clayton has shown a willingness to go after local criminals who have avoided consequences for their crimes. 

Recently, Clayton announced the indictment of 19 people in response to their involvement with fentanyl deaths in New York City. According to the Wall Street Journal, New Yorkers have known to avoid certain areas in NYC where drug dealing occurs. According to the indictment, there are areas in NYC that have “open drug markets” and have criminal networks “distributing millions of doses of opioids including fentanyl and heroin, as well as millions of doses of crack cocaine.”

The NYC Police have been aware of these markets and they arrested these same defendants over 80 times. The judicial system in NYC is run by leftists Democrats and they have allowed these defendants to get quickly back on the streets after they were arrested. They never forced these defendants to suffer any real consequences for their behavior.

Many young citizens of New York have died as a result of the actions of these drug dealers. In spite of this, the Democrats in NYC refused to put these drug dealers in prison. 

President Trump has bypassed the local Democrats and used the federal system to attempt to put these career criminals in prison for many years.

Remember, when our local Democrats protest against “Kings”, this is what “King Trump” is doing; he is bypassing Democrats who refuse to prosecute evil criminals whose actions are killing our young people.
