Recently, The Bradenton Times, an online leftist newspaper, endorsed Bill Sanders for Mayor of Bradenton. Joe McClash begged the voters of the City of Bradenton to elect Bill Sanders as their next Mayor.
Sanders has a history of creating controversy wherever he goes. His time on the Bradenton City Council was marked by outbursts and uncivil behaviour. Many city workers complained about his behavior.
Shakespeare was deemed to have said: “the empty vessel makes the loudest noise.” Sanders did not represent the City of Bradenton well.
Joe McClash, however, believed Sanders should have been the face of the City of Bradenton. This would have been the equivalent of appointing Josef Stalin as the head of the United Nations.
Sander’s face now is in mug shot form. I take no pleasure in anyone’s difficulties but I do believe this situation calls into question how any intelligent person or organization could have endorsed Sanders for Mayor of Bradenton.
The logical explanation is that McClash and his organization dislike Governor DeSantis and Republicans so much that they have convinced themselves that conservative business people are evil and only environmentalists should hold office.
Fortunately, the citizens of Bradenton ignored McClash and his Democrat buddies and re-elected Gene Brown. Hopefully, Sanders can get help and recover from his issues.
