Our Democrat friends have been attempting to explain away their election loss to Donald Trump, whom they claimed was worse than Hitler. The explanations are plentiful. Some say the right wing media (X and Joe Rogan) was too powerful a voice to overcome. Some Democrats say that too many Americans are racist or sexist. Some are attempting to blame President Biden for not dropping out earlier.
The Democrats are puzzled because they had a 2 to 1 fundraising advantage and they still lost. How could so many Americans not follow the advice of Taylor Swift and Oprah?
The Democrats appear to be unable to recognize the obvious. They nominated a leftist former Senator who has endorsed far-left policies throughout her career.
5 years ago, Kamala ran for President in the Democratic primaries. What platform did she have?
Kamala made it very clear in her campaign that she would end the tactics that Trump had enacted to close our southern border. Kamala was proud that she would have an open border that would decriminalize immigration violations. After 4 years of open border policies, it is easy to see how many Americans would not approve of this policy.
Kamala also endorsed confiscating guns from American citizens. She made it clear that she was a strong proponent of gun control. This policy is not a winning issue in a country where Democratic prosecutors are refusing to prosecute violent criminals and instead are releasing them onto our streets.
Kamala also endorsed having taxpayers pay for transgender surgery for transgender prisoners. This did not seem to be a priority for many Americans.
Kamala also was adamant that she would ban fracking. This would have cut jobs for many Americans and would have caused gas prices to surge.
Kamala also championed raising the miles-per-gallon standards for US automakers. This has led to higher automobile prices for American consumers
Kamala consistently attempted to rein in Israel in their attempts to put Hamas out of action. Her policies showed her lack of credentials in foreign affairs.
Donald Trump has always been a controversial personality. Many Americans voted for him in spite of his personality because they could not accept Kamala’s platform.
The Democrats should stop blaming the voters. The reason they lost was because Kamala has consistently supported causes that most Americans cannot support.
