Liverpool have returned to the UEFA Europa League for the first time since they were runners-up in the competition in the 2015/16 season.
The three-time UEFA Cup winners have progressed from the group stage on the five of the occasions they have participated since the competition was rebranded as the Europa League in 2009/10.
Despite the frustration surrounding missing out on a Premier League top four finish in 2022/23, and a continuing place in the Champions League, Liverpool are amongst the favourites to win the title in Dublin.
Liverpool have been synonymous with the European Cup/Champions League, with six titles, but their focus will be on Europa League in the months ahead.
