Global bragging rights are at stake this weekend in Italy.

The 2023 Ryder Cup takes place over the next three days at Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Italy, as Team USA and Team Europe go head-to-head in the biennial competition.

The Americans enter this year’s competition as the victors from the 2021 Ryder Cup, taking down the Europeans in Wisconsin two years ago. Team Europe is hoping to get the Ryder Cup back in its possession overseas, and recent history is in Europe’s favor, as Team USA has not won the Ryder Cup on non-American soil in 30 years.

The three-day event features foursome matches, four-ball play and single matches, as the 12-man squads compete for the coveted trophy.
