Local Businessman, Dennis Cooley files for State Representative, District 70
Ellenton, FL – Dennis Cooley, a local, small businessman filed this week to become the next State Representative from District 70. Cooley is eyeing the new map, filed by the Florida Legislature that looks to give Southern Hillsborough and Northern Manatee Counties a new member of the State House of Representatives. He is a husband and father who will put his years of business experience to work keeping Florida and its economy on track.
“I’m running to keep Florida Free. Governor DeSantis has made Florida the envy of the nation and I want to keep it that way,” Cooley stated.
“Our state’s leaders have led with courage and conservatism throughout this pandemic and the results speak for themselves. Florida is a nationwide leader in economic growth, education innovation, infrastructure investments, and environmental restoration. We can continue this record of results by electing local, conservative leaders who will stay the course in the face of an out-of-control federal government that seeks to undermine Florida’s success on a daily basis. I will be that voice to stand in the breach between hardworking, freedom-loving Floridians and the dysfunction of Washington D.C.,” Cooley concluded.
