ALLEGIANT ANNOUNCES NEW NONSTOP SERVICE TO AKRON WITH ONE-WAY FARES AS LOW AS $59* 

The new route is part of the airline’s return to service in Akron, connecting Ohio residents to destinations in Florida and Georgia 

SARASOTA, Fla. Oct. 26, 2021 — Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) today announces a new  nonstop route to Sarasota from Akron, Ohio beginning March 3, 2022. To celebrate, the  company is offering one-way fares on the new route as low as $59.* 

“Sarasota continues to prove itself as a destination that provides warm getaways where vacationers can enjoy a variety of outdoor leisure activities,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s senior vice president of revenue and network planning. “The addition of this route will give our customers new, affordable options for visiting Florida.”

The new nonstop route from Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) will operate twice weekly. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com

The new routes from Akron-Canton Airport in Ohio include: 

  1. Punta Gorda, Florida via Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) – beginning March 2, 2022 with one-way fares as low as $59.* 
  2. Savannah, Georgia via Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) – beginning March 3, 2022 with one-way fares as low as $59.* 
  3. St. Petersburg, Florida via St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport (PIE) – beginning March 4, 2022 with one-way fares as low as $59.*
