Lewis Park to have Limitless Playground, thanks to partnership with Rotary Club

The Rotary Club and the City of Bradenton have teamed up to build a playground accessible to all kids, regardless of physical challenges. The playground will be located in Lewis Park at 3120 First Ave. W. The City will maintain the property and playground, as it always has. Rotary’s Suncoast Playgrounds Project, Inc. is funding and will retain naming rights to the inclusive-play project, and the city will pay for the special surface the playground will sit on.

Also, thanks to an anonymous donor who gave the project $50,000, a special piece of equipment known as the Rockin’ Ship will be installed. The donation was specifically designated for the Rockin’ Ship.
