Florida investigators issue missing child alert out of Jackson County
MARIANNA, Fla. (WMBB) — Florida investigators are searching for two missing children who were taken from the Cottondale area.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said 14-year-old Emily Gonzalez and 12-year-old Jonathan Gonzalez are with 40-year-old Jonathan Gonzalez. The group was last seen in a 2016 red Ford 300 series with Florida tag HXQM58.
Anyone who spots them is asked not to approach the group and instead to call law enforcement immediately.
Anyone with information about the missing children can call 911, or FDLE at 1-888-356-4774.

US blames China for Microsoft Exchange email hack

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Biden administration on Monday blamed China for a hack of Microsoft Exchange email server software that compromised tens of thousands of computers around the world earlier this year.
The administration and allied nations also disclosed a broad range of other cyberthreats from Beijing, including ransomware attacks from government-affiliated hackers that have targeted companies with demands for millions of dollars. China’s Ministry of State Security has been using criminal contract hackers, who have engaged in cyber extortion schemes and theft for their own profit, according to a senior administration official. That official briefed reporters about the investigation on the condition of anonymity.

DeSantis urges Cuban military to overthrow government

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (The News Service of Florida) — Gov. Ron DeSantis told young members of Cuba’s military to “live in the history books” by overthrowing their nation’s communist leadership, as he pushed President Joe Biden to bring Wi-Fi access back to people protesting on the island nation.
