What a breath of fresh air Amanda brings to the table. Her tireless work within the community knows what the Community needs are. Her vision to take the County to the next level in that district is spot on with her solutions brought forward on today's show.
I look forward to her swearing in as our new Commissioner
I knew we had a common thread...we are both middle children..hehe

Comment on Oil and blood: What Biden still doesn’t understand by Dan Crumpler

Electric cars are the solution that Biden and his buddies are quick to tout as the answer to how we are going to save the planet and make everything perfect again. To achieve that goal, there's quite a few things that have to fall into place to make it work. The first is that gasoline has to go up in price. The past year has already done a great job in doing that, but he has only just begun on raising prices. Pricing gasoline out of the reach for ordinary people ($10.00 a gallon) can't be done too fast as it is risky politically. Fortunately for Biden, Putin is the guilty one for making prices go up, according to Biden.

The second part of this is that once prices get to painful levels, Biden will have to put in limits on how much fuel people can buy. Once rationing is established, people will pay whatever it costs to get the fuel they need to survive. This can start at higher levels to build compliance and then dropped greatly to sharply curtail usage.

The third part of the plan is to eventually ban all private vehicles. This is the much longer goal as the bulk of the population does not have good mass transit readily available and the citizens value their private cars very highly. Giving up their cars and trucks would be a bitter pill to swallow, but far more possible after they are already shut down because of limited fuel.

The strangest part of all of this is that wind, solar, and water generated electricity currently makes up just 18% of the total amount of power being used. There is no way to ramp up renewable energy to carry all of the load so the only way to keep the lights on is to drastically cut demand. Doubling and tripling energy costs is a good way to start cutting demand among lower income users. Higher income users can afford to pay more, but even they will wince at a $1,000 power bill. Saving the planet will be expensive, but if it destroys the country and it's people, what have we achieved?

Sorry Mark, these special School Board elections are all part of the master plan to pull on the heart strings of the public who think they are doing the best thing for the good of the students and their teachers. The shrewd people that are behind this are very much aware that the average voter casts their ballot driven by the emotion of what they think voting for or against an issue will do. Voting against the schools, students, and teachers is vile beyond their comprehension, even if a billion dollar budget is already a done deal.
But not to worry, you can count on another emergency referendum in a few years to stave off another budget crisis plus you'll already be paying a lot more in School Board taxes to give the kids a mythical "world-class" education that is so popular for administrators to crow about.

Mark, it gets even better now that Biden has announced that he will nominate a black female for the Supreme Court. Just think of the political brownie points Biden and the Democrats could claim if he went further and said he wanted a Black/Native American female trans supporting LGBTQ+ who was also Muslim. The approval ratings would be off the charts as Progressives would be dancing in the streets and liberals would celebrate the second coming of Hillary.
Of course, there may be a small technical detail in the constitutionality of selecting a nominee based on race or gender. Must not be a problem, just look at Kamala Harris.
