It’s hard to fathom in so many respects, but there are just three weeks left in college football’s regular season, four weeks until bowl announcements become official. As a result, the postseason picture from the College Football Playoff on down is coming into clearer focus for just about every one of the potential contenders.

After a slew of surprising results in Week 10, it looks somewhat unrealistic for there to be enough 6-6 teams to fill all the open slots, so both James Madison and Jacksonville State are almost assuredly going to find a postseason home. We’re also likely to have at least one or two 5-7 teams in the postseason, which by APR score could be Northwestern, Wake Forest or even Mississippi State if any of them don’t hit the elusive .500 mark first. That’s subject to change depending on some potential upsets over the coming weeks but is another reason things continue to change with each passing Saturday.

So, who’s going where at the moment?

[CFP rankings: Ohio State, Georgia, Michigan, Florida State in top four]
