The last of the four golf majors of the calendar year began on Thursday when the 150th edition of the Open Championship teed off at St Andrews.
This year marks the 150th edition of the tournament, with the setting considered the home of golf hosting the showpiece for the first time since 2015.
Tiger Woods is in the field after he sat out this year’s U.S. Open, returning to the venue where he won the Open in 2000 and 2005.
Rory McIlroy is the betting favourite to win his first major since 2014, while U.S. Open champion Matthew Fitzpatrick is a contender alongside American defending champion Collin Morikawa.

How to watch Open Championship 2022 in the UK
Sky Sports has the exclusive live rights to the Open Championship in the UK. All four days will be broadcast on the Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Golf channels, with streaming available via the Sky Sports website and Sky Go app.
